Mrs. Shirley Ann Smith Rollins, age 65, of 2705 - 30th Avenue, Tuscaloosa, completed her earthly journey on Thursday, November 27, 2008, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Family and Friends Celebration of her Life was held on Tuesday, December 1, 2008, from 6pm until 8pm at St. Mark AME Church. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 3, 2008, at 11am at Weeping Mary Baptist Church. Rev. J. L. Simpson pastor. Rev. James A. Davis officiated. Burial followed in Benville Cemetery, Cottondale with Rollins' Mortuary directing.

#1 Robyn Foster 2011-02-15 11:52 Dear Smith and Rollins family, in his word the Bible, our Creator promised us something wonderful, that there is indeed hope for seeing loved ones again: John 5:28,29 tells us:"…the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." All those who demonstrate love and obedience to God have a prospect to enjoy a life together: Psalms 37:10,11: "..the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." Even those who have p[censored]ed have already paid the penalty for sin, which is death. (Romans 6:23). What wonderful hope you have to see Shirley again! Quote
