Tony S. Johnson Sr. Family
God is our creator. God is our sustain-er. God is our comforter. May we find comfort in him and offer praises for allowing us a family that is sound and rooted in his grace. We remember Dorothy, her love of God and how she was so loving, caring, giving and always made us smile. I remember how we shared so many times one of our favorite songs of our favorite group the Truthees "God's Gonna Wipe All Tears Away". We do now acknowledge, he promised me joy and peace for now a brand new day is darning. God has set her free. Family may we all log-in and share in this song in remembrance and praise at our Dorothy's time of home going.

To the Rutley/Ward families, Dorothy was a beautiful spirit filled servant of GOD. My heart is heavy, but I find PEACE in knowing she's with our LORD and saviour. Sending heartfelt love and sympathy to the entire family. Continue to hold to GOD'S UNCHANGING HANDS. GOD BLESS! Rev. Verner and Lydia Williams and Marcus.

Dot's laugh could chase all of the blues out of any room. Whenever she laughed, you knew for sure something was really funny--whether it was something you did or said, something that just happened, or some odd thing about life and living. I am blessed that we shared so much laughter over the years and that she was an integral part of so many memorable times in my life.

Dorothy (Dot) Rutley, one of the sweetest and realest people to walk the face of this earth. Her relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ was a walk, not merely a talk. I loved, loved, loved her. Though it had been years since I'd seen her face to face, we could talk for the longest on the phone. She is with Him who loves her best: King Jesus. She will be greatly missed.
