Condolence: It took me a while before I could even type the first sentence of this memorial note. Zaida was such a unique soul and her friendship was so authentic and beautiful. We spent many hours talking about hopes, dreams and experiences but most of all about God. There is a group of us, Myself, Rhonda, Christiana and Amelie...a very unique group of women who love to come to Tuscaloosa for prayer with pastor Moss. We always stay at Zaida's and chat until the wee hours of the evening just chatting and praying away. My kids (all college age) have always looked forward to spending time with Zaida as well. Her passing was a painful shock to us all and she will be continually remembered in our hearts and mind.

Condolence: To the family of Sister Zaida S. Jones- I extend to you my deepest condolences & heartfelt sympathy at this time of sorrow. Sister Jones helped me from the first time I met her, which was my senior year in high school, and through the not-so-distant past. She was more than a friend to me-she was always there to encourage me & pray for the Lord to see me through whatever situation I encountered. She always helped me in any way possible. She prayed for me during serious illnesses, everyday situations & other happenings in my life. We attended churches together many times & I am thankful to the Lord for her showing leadership and teaching me about the Lord. We've enjoyed Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners at Sister Jones's house & a vast array of other events. I will miss our late night talks & prayers over the phone. However, I know she's in a better place and with the greatest friend of all, OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST...Be blessed.
